The Spirit of Light
You know, it's pretty weird how
some things grab your attention
and others don't. It's kinda
like when it's thunderin' and lightenin' outside
and you might feel excited
or maybe reunited
or maybe just quieted.
Strange, ain't it, how that noise and light gets you?

note: Where I grew up, we pronounce “thunderin'” as thundren (two syllables) and “lightenin'” as lightnin (also two syllables)
