The Soup of the Day Is Love

Most poets I would note
Never make a dime
On anything they wrote
No matter the kind of the rhyme
But that doesn’t stop production
By poets on the soup
So what is the seduction
And what do we recoup
The way I have it figured
It’s the feedback that we crave
The payments for our efforts
Are the comment we all gave
There’s a feeling of acceptance
We don’t get every day
We are willing to write freelance
For your notice is our pay

So what would I miss
If the Soup wasn’t there
All the love that I feel
With the comments that we share

Mike, I will give you your first payment. I love it! I think you hit the nail on the head so to speak. I'm new to the soup and immediately saw the appeal. I think you have a winner here. Blessings, Rhonda
