The Soup Fest

Walking through the county fair
I arrived at the soup fest
I knew just right away
That this was my biggest test

So many different kinds
Endless varieties all around
The aroma was overpowering
I almost fell to the ground

I picked out a table near the wall
For eating soup it has to be right
I ordered my very first bowl
And continued eating through the night

When morning finally arrived
I could not eat any more
I was not really sure that
I could fit through the door

Made it to my house now
With new knowledge I got
Something I knew all along
I really like soup a lot
