The Sounds Around Me -Nursery Rhyme

My little dog says yap-yap
When I take him into lap

My pretty parrot chatters
When someone clatters

My cute kitten makes hiss
When a visitor hits

From the yard a lamb’s bleat
Sense like morning greet

At the farm ridges, frogs croak
Echoes as my friend’s laughter to a joke

Busy dragon flies hum
Like hoarse beat of drum

Nutty funny donkey’s bray
When it loses its way

I often fail listening to school bell
But never miss my mother’s yell
