The Sound of Gravity: Ocean
(Close your eyes)
(Let it be still)
I close my eyes
And my senses fill
Lazy buzzing of flies
Birds' high voices -- shrill
Dig my hands in warm sand
The breeze tickles my nose
Pull my hair back -- a strand
In my face as wind blows
With the sun on my cheeks
Salt and sand on my feet
The blue ocean speaks
Out against summer's heat
It murmurs in my ears
As water licks the beach
And dissipates my fears
Which now are far beyond my reach
I come back late at night
To behold the hushing blue
What once was so bright
Now whispers of you
As the waves crash about
I look to the sky
See stars sprinkled throughout
And the moon, full and high
