The Song Writer

Guitar strums, another song he has written
Lyrics sad, in his life he has been bitten

Dreams are big, his words are few
He sings his songs like many others do

Dark and lonely, often tones of loss
Proud and strong, Heather sweet among the moss

Hope still stirs, positive and bright
His youngest son, gives him new sound and light.

What is needed now, is for him to get a break
His words to fall on ears, all hearing and awake.
