The Snow Is Falling
This February Day
But my heart is still
Aching because
My mama went away.
Just like the falling
Snow flakes flying by.
Each different as God
Made them that way.
My tears over flow
But for some of you
It will not show.
Winter time brings
Seclution so we take
More time to think.
I am so thankful God
Made winter
Even if it is messy and cold
It gives us time to
Rest our minds
And if we want cry all day.
I think of my mom soft skin
From the time my life begin
Her voice I heard from
Day out to day in.
I will remember her
Until my life ends
