The Smile That Survived

I wonder why sadness surrounds his eyes,
I wonder why fear scares his soul,
I wonder why tears crawl on his cheeks,
I wonder why his daydream takes his mind away,
Though his sadness, fear, tears, and daydreams are always there in him,
I wonder how his smile survives on his face…
