"The Sleeper and The Supernaturalist"
The Sleeper
shone as she walked
through the Woods
shining alive
like nothing
natural could
caught
in the moonlight
unaware
the innocent
red-caped roses stared
the trees whispered,
"beware, beware"
barefoot softly
the Supernaturalist
transfigures instead
from under shine
she bares
what exists
deeper
beneath
that cumbersome skin
silently she turns
watching you,
eyes sharp jade not blue
she sees you
the you
that burns
indigo flame
captured by
ultra violet hues
secrets hidden
imprinted in the walls
of folly, a strange lair
transmogrifying
light and dark
both, with care
protective lines
of a full circle
she draws around herself
with broken branch of a tree,
leaves -
like flying pages from books
surrender,
they are
now unnecessary
falling all about her
they dissolve in thin air
like melting snow,
everywhere -
where blood
is not thicker
than water
she speaks to
the Others
unseen
as she moves
her way through
shallow
to deeper
emotional
waters
in the waves of the air
invocations heard
as clear as bells
spectral haunting
coded
noscitur-a-sociis
the path
and the challenge
not daunting, for her
she transfigures
far to near
the free, the 'dirt poor'
new nooks babbling
minds flowing like brooks
baring portentous romantic prophecies
naked labyrinthine notions
fresh necks in the woods
there to bleed back to life
to feed
and reciprocate
for what's good
odd hymns
unravelling the
seductive necromancy
understood
sometimes
mis-understood
there in that place
where strange
creatures come and go
igniting mojo fires
for stoking with leaves
to warm the rune potions
hearts, cold stones
each with a name
and symbol, for stroking
invisible guardian
watches over two
night walkers waking
one and the same
one wakes at night
the other by day
the Supernaturalist
hypnotises fey with folly
in the Dells of Parnassus
Home
of the gods
and their muses
tombs
become tomes
enlightened celebratory masses
whispering
the Sleeper in
to parlay
her somnolent prayers
surround like some
holy mother
ringing the bells
ringing the bells
ringing the bells
3 is the number
well after midnight
for mystic mesmerisers
misunderstood
sometimes
understood
shrine alters
they adorn
with meaningful heresy
planting in the electric
their entrancement,
they espy without grimoire,
their charges
velvet bedded,
all adrift now in the opium
of their magick poesies
all soft petals, thistles
and sharp thorns
roads to stories
fair weather
and dark storms
nebulous, unending,
cloudy elixir of dreams,
taken behind all windows
portals
closing
portals
closing
portals
closing
the woods beckon
the woods scream
delta tinctured
movements of a rapid eye
brings forth the bodiless
with words
undead and true
that they must do what must undo
belligerently defy
dismissal and its nemesis
auto-da-fé
a mist in the torn
splintered
Wood of Tears
way long gone
past
the folly of fears
bell book and candle
breaks the cracked
tired crucible
with feathery quills and
charms of blue
what comes to pass
found through
indomitable will
she delivers, automatically to you
spoken
from the
Seat of Pythia
at the cross road
of The Sleeper's
Delphi heart
The Supernaturalist
sees and hears
the unseen and the seen
residing
and hiding in
you

Significance of the “Bells” in Christable by Samuel Taylore Coleridge:
“Throughout the poem, the bells communicate a reminder of Christabel's dead mother. Sometimes this reminder is good, like when they ring as a reminder that Christabel's mom is lingering about and playing guardian angel.”

Delta
Delta Waves
Delta waves are high amplitude neural oscillations with a frequency between 0.5 and 4 hertz. Delta waves, like other brain waves, can be recorded with electroencephalography (EEG) and are usually associated with the deep stage 3 of NREM sleep, also known as slow-wave sleep (SWS), and aid in characterizing the depth of sleep.
