The Sky Has Opened Up, Limitless Possibilities

Thunder rumbles, lightning crashes
Rain falls faster
Please don't let our efforts
Become a beautiful disaster

I can feel you though you're far
You're in my blood, you're in my soul
You're the air that I breathe
Without you I'd be half, not whole

I stare up at the sky, as if to send you a signal
Sending radio signals, can you hear me?
Will my message reach you or will my efforts fall short?
The fog sets in, again, I cannot see

Shine your light bright
so I can find my way

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
