The Skies

This poem is inspired by the photos (sorry they upload blurry - when they are clear).  

**Also thank you to Sandy Weiss for the beautiful framing of them**

The skies hold for me, all my dreams I have within
Unfolding shades of color, like prizes of love to win
Yellow wings of clouds spread, flying above the trees 
Carrying all of my secret wishes in the wind with ease
Bright reflections from the water, shine with a glow
It doesn't matter right now, the things I don't know
What I do know is, I've looked above since I was young
Through laughter, tears and all that may have stung
Even with the troubles, that I may have in this day,
This special place in the sky, gives me all I need to say
