The Siren Bait

Yo-ho, all together
Hoist the colors high
Heave ho, thieves and beggars
Never shall we die-

Sail the seas, calm or rugged
See what lies underneath
Creatures of old, the ship they drugged
To the cold of the sea, beneath

Among the men, there was a treasure
Diamond in the rough-
Chased by men, for their pleasure
Till she had had, enough

In the waves, conscious faded
There the Siren found
Her claim, long awaited
Deep in the sea, she drowned
