The Singularity of Oneness

At that point
I didn’t really need the 
Lights on to walk through
Our house in the darkness 
Of the night

Come to bed 
	She said

And I knew what she was saying
And I knew the way by heart
And I knew the path without straying

My feet counted the steps 
Not needing my brain 
To calculate or
Explain the reasons

There was no darkness 
between us
In the singularity of the oneness 
Of love lasting forever
