The Silent Walker
A silent walker strides his course
In pensive contemplation
His brain a fire with thoughts of life
In search of explanation
The quiet man continues on
His path is often winding
He wonders how his life will turn
And what will be the finding
On his road, he learned that life
Is worth the tribulation
That joy and sorrow sometime meet
A part of life’s narration
I love to walk in silence still
Though now in recollection
When I think of my younger days
In peaceful introspection
