The Self Conscious

bitterly cold
            anxious
            peering into the gloom
        staring motionless
I remember imagine
   many
      thoughts
        race through the mind
agitated
intrigued
        alienated isolated
nothing becomes known
   as
      bizarre conversations stun

I become curious
          intensely so
then
      dismissive
          of the oblique way
     ahead
then
     reluctantly go

Excellent free verse, Brian. Love this type of formatting. I will leave you another sample of my poetry reading in a Soupmail (for your blog). Why don't you open it for comments? I enjoyed hearing the three you showed us there.

Cheers Andrea,a style I first developed in 2012,when Debbie encouraged me to move on lfrom shortforms .I look forward to listing it.I want the voice to take precedence for time being on the blog rather than comments that so often digress from the point.
