The Seed

How strange indeed, I wonder
This weight of dreams I’m under
lost on paths of planted seed
I bare the wrath of fruitless trees

In fear of Lies, Life and truth
I find you there, beyond my youth
Further than, my heart could go
you lay you down, like a road

That ever was, and still will lead
to the root, of barren seed
and ask me now, how could it grow?
The waters deep but never flow

without Centrific energy
going out and back to me
through the failings of a man
and a woman’s grasping hand

with tears a flood, our cheeks a stain
but bring us life, like summer rain
for thirsty tongues that yearned to say,
the flood of years, all tucked away

for flower spring, where lovers kiss
and dig the earth in cautiousness
to find the seed, that couldn’t grow
become the love, they’ll ever know
