The Secrets To Our December

Riddles litter the ground I sleep
Monsters dwell
They hide: they creep
Afraid to feel
To know what's real
How am I to know
When frozen in snow?
Stars they dwindle
They sparkle--they flicker
In time we'll render
And so surrender
The secrets of our December.
