The Secluded Street

Illuminance in the sea of darkness, I saw
A secluded street light as though,
A beauty saddened in her wait for company,
On the long lone road, a symphony
Of mystery and tranquility
Forever bound in solidarity.


The hands of my watch lie still,
I see a bench longing to feel,
The touch of warmth; I found nothing else
As I sat on that dreadful bench, but myself...
