The Seasons Of Life Are Ever-Changing - for Gladys

Think about your entire life in four different stages,
Like the seasons animals endure out in the wild.
With the SPRING, comes learning how to turn the pages.
Curiosity is overwhelming as a child.

The SUMMER of life is full of fun and innocence for us all,
As we soak up the sun’s hot rays and frolic on the beach.
When we become an adult, we listen to our heart’s call
And we find that none of our desires are out of reach.

Throughout the AUTUMN of our life, we daydream a lot.
We live to work and work to live, knowing there’s more out there.
Find that one, special person out there and give it a shot.
What makes the journey worth the wait is knowing that they care.

When the WINTER of our life comes knocking at our door,
We will be ready and waiting with open arms and love.
With a partner, it’s just another season to explore,
While those who have gone on before us watch from up above.
