The Seasons As They Change

Looking out across the valley
brings pleasant memories
of times I stood here drawing
the water, sky and trees.

I've watched the seasons as they change
from wintertime through the fall,
embracing the challenge each one presents
as I've drawn here at the wall.

The springtime with each bud so new
and the summer in it's strength of green,
the autumn with each changing leaf,
there's just so much to be seen.

But I realize that as I've been creative,
my efforts are imitations at best
of the work of One who has created
a Masterpiece far above the rest.

Love this write Douglas. I don't have a favorite season, I like them all. Each has it's own distinct beauty. And yes, it's all a Masterpiece created by Our Heavenly Father. Just beautiful.
