The Season Is Upon Us
The Season is Upon Us

The season is upon us
It's time for Christmas cheer
A babe born in a manger
Is the one who brought us here
A star shone brightly overhead
Wise men and shepherds came
The angels sang about him
Christ Jesus was his name
Three kings came there with presents
For the son of God was born
In a lowly stable warmed with cows
On that first of Christmas morns
He was sent by God to die for us
On a cross upon a hill
And if we believe he paved the road
Our way to heaven paid the bill
To have faith or not the choice is ours
We only must believe
And live our lives as he lived his
And never practice to deceive
Treat others as we would ourselves
Each and every day forgive
Believe that Christmas happened
And when you die in heaven live
May be other ways to get there
For me believing is the best
The choice is yours as it was mine
Just believe and pass the test
