The Sea's Love

I am the sea
I go wherever the waves leads me
I look up and envy the stars
‘Coz I can never be closer to where you are 

I am the sea
Nobody can ever fathom what’s beneath me
But I’m hoping for the time to come
For me to get closer to you someday

I am the sea
badly wanting you near me 
Longing, hoping and dreaming that one day
You and me will be a possibility

I am the sea
And for so long, I’ve kept you in my heart
But you are the moon
And were destined to be apart.
