The breeze of the sea has lifted me I feel the caress of her salty kiss With her my words can float away free The breeze of the sea has lifted me To sail my thoughts through waves filigree Then write of her from my hidden abyss The breeze of the sea has lifted me I feel the caress of her salty kiss 1-29-2022

Jeanne, your adoration of the sea is always so evident in your art (I love your "Moon Kissed Wave" painting among many others), and what a delightful triolet you have created here to continue your artistic expression in words. The feelings of freedom and being caressed and lifted are all elements that have sustained my love affair with the ocean since my youth. I so enjoyed this and can relate to every word... a Fav.
