The Seagulls

She always loved the sunset
As it melted into the sea
She watched it every chance she got
From the time that she was three

She always loved the seagulls
She said they made her fly
She'd close her eyes and spread her wings
And go soaring thru the sky

She said the ocean was magical
There's no place she'd rather be
So today I spread her ashes
Across the deep blue sea

Fly now, my little angel
You've finally got your wings
Go now with the sunset
For I know the joy it brings

Go flying with the seagulls
They'll lead you safely home
Teach the angels how to fly
For soon you'll reach God's Throne
