The Savior Is Born
Oh, Bethlehem you were the den
Whence the Lion of Judah was born
No room in the inn thus born in a pen
With ox and ass for friends
The glory of the Lord shone bright
As the Angels made known that night
Fear not, for we bring you great joy
Wrapped in a manger is Mary’s baby boy
Revealed to mere shepherds in a field
The Lamb of God from David’s seed
Fulfilling what the prophets foretold
The Son of God for man to behold
So, Hark the Harold Angels sang
On that silent night in Bethlehem
And from the East the Magi came
Bearing gifts and praising his name
The Son of Man had arrived
The Savior for all our lives
