The Sands and My Dream

Pray Lord that I, this path may tread
with strides affirm and unhesitant.
That frequent may my longing be
to call forth Your Name, and rejoice in Thee.

That sweet scents of flowers and colours me trail
and in Heaven’s Garden, my loving avail.
That warm rays of sun, through me daily flow
to generate faith, of high, not of low.

Let choirs of angels my dark fears assuage.
And (no) tongues of man, my trust in You forge.
Awake Lord my soul, with fervent desire
to know God Your truth, and to truth I aspire.

Pray Lord that in, Your love I will stay.
Oh God protect me, when night darkens day.
Pray Lord, may Your blessings my human heart stream.
Pray beautiful my love, the sands and my dream.
