The Sanctuary
Beneath a sanctuary of the tree
I lift my prayer on bended knee
You know each Heart,
And worship true
So here, my God, I worship You
I am here, part of Your church
Beneath the shade of aging birch
God, You see each single mind
Father, You're so loving, kind
Oh God, how is it You can see
The great expanse
And even me
Oh, How You know pretentiousness,
The base, unkind, the fuss or mess
But I feel Your love, Your Breath
In the height, and in the depth
In the meadowlarks sweet song
The morning stars eternal long
In Tabernacles, Love's Accord
In joy, in song, and in Your Word
I'll sing of Your goodness,
Praise You, with elation
My voice joins in praise Lord with
Tongues of each nation
A tiny spark from within me
From neathe my sanctuary tree
You hear our songs!
You see each heart!
I lift my voice, I'll sing my part.
The meadowlark will sing Your praise
The sunshine beams in joyous rays
And here am I
Beneath the tree
I lift my praise on bended knee
