The Same Difference

You know we may be more alike than you'd like to think
For it's not such a long hike but instead just a mere blink
Not being one in the same but being the same in His Eyes
He took both of our blame yet only you chose not to realize

But there we are as one, in so passing each other, each day
Two were forgiven by the Son, one chose the opposite way
His love reigning down from above, me I'm all soak and wet
You deny all of that love, being in your ways that are so set

But we're no different me and you not as the Lord sees fit
Each at a conclusion we drew though they vary quite a bit
He still loves us each the same and that is the song I sing
He took all of our blame and in return what will you bring

So you see we are not different no matter what you say
We were both here sent to live in the Glory of His Day
What you do is your choice where as I have so described
I have chosen to rejoice as in all the words I have scribed

1 Chronicles 16:10
Glory ye in his holy name:
let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
