The Sad Songs
There are times in my life
when I'm driving down a road on a starry night
i think to myself and i look up into the skies
I wonder if you can see every tear that I've cried
I turn down the radio because it playing all those sad songs
that you just don't want to hear
it just brings back all the pain and fear you went through
it brings me back to the last time i had to spend with you
Everytime i hear a song, that reminds me of you
I just turn it down, wipe my eyes
hold my heart, drive on by
nothing in this world will bring you back
its time for me to realize that
When all the tears have fallen from my eyes
I look back up at that starry sky
and wish upon a star
to heal my broken heart
