The Sacrifice

For You

           I gave up my daily bread

For You

           I healed, taught and fed

For You

           I prayed, wept and bled

For You

           I took the path all dread to tred

For You

           I was willing to shed my last red

                                                             Only give me your heart my friend

                                                             And I will keep you to the very end
