The Sabbath

"Remember ye, to keep the Sabbarh. To keep it holy." Whether Christian or Jew, we follow the commands of the Lord. That one day to miss, we can ill-afford. August 29, 2019

God knew what he was saying, we need that day to rest and to contemplate. We are not avid church goers but sometimes feel I need the church, the communion and the priest. We celebrate the Sabbath both at the Anglican church, as I am half English and the Greek. By the way am fluent in Greek but the Greek churches that still keep to ancient greek, is slowly withering away, a great many prayers are now said in English Hugs and blessings,Panagiota, Jennifer.

You are one of a disminshing part of humanity and to be highly respected for honoring God. Latin has been removed from Catholic Masses and no more Gregorian chanting. Very sad. Good you attend both Anglican and Greek services plus know Greek fluently.it is taught here.this weekend is the Greek Festival at Saint Basil's. I can only go one of the three days! I will cherish that one day. Love, Panagiota

Really, humanity needs this instead of the busy madness they run in. Panagiota
