The Rose and the Thorn

The rose and the thorn, from mother, we're torn. The future lies on, the past lies so long. The hawk and pheasant, the moon in crescent. The stolen lightning, the odd sky sighting. Robotic mankind, with a godless mind. Then comes the black hat, he knows where it's at. A silvery tongue, to enslave the young. The wall and the brick, the clocks heartless tick. Then the cosmic sign, of justice divine. Just around the bend, to rise and ascend. The man that's to be, falls on bended knee. The fall of the fist, the serpents' last hiss. The fate of mankind, the contract was signed. The Flight of The Dove, The Power of Love! date:6-15-22
