The Roman Legion

Nothing has changed from three centuries ago
Men sent in masses, liberate, on with the foe
When actually the foe hides deep from within
Leaders of countries calculate who will win

To the poor rotten soldier crippled and maimed
Fighting for liberty never knows he's been framed
Love the War not the Warrior trudge on Hero Brave
There is money in War. Big Money. . . Still. . . to be made!

You have made it easy to write on the Roman Legion. I tried and gave up. Good luck in the contest, Judy
