The Road Still Beckons
Loads of work
saturate the whole day long;
unable to do other things,
a consequence of the day.
Phone calls to make
laundry to do
letters to write
unable to attend them all.
There's a little space
a potential place
where work can be done
to fulfill what's gonna have.
A quiet time
an inspiring one
that goes deep within
the meaning it conveys.
chronicled events,
highlighted experiences,
significant to recall
in pursuit of God's call.
along with certain faults,
shortcomings and failures,
still the road beckons
for someone who trusts God's plan.
