The Road Split Two Ways

The road split two ways The traveler stood and stewed He was holding up traffic Though he sought not to be rude One sign said, 'The Easy Life' The other, 'Eternal Rest' He honestly didn't know Which one would be best He heard a voice under him Above him, a second voice too One voice for each road sign Both sounded good ~ What to do... He startled himself with a shock of a thought His life had been hard; had it all been for naught Right then and there he knew which road to choose So, he laid himself down and proceded to snooze * * * * * My tale has been told; there's nothing more to say I hope it has brightened a part of your day And that you thought to yourself what you might just do When a fork in the road one day greets you

A brilliant tale of this man's interpretation of just what "eternal rest" meant, had me laughing all the way through the darn traffic jam he created . . . : )

Hello Gershon Wolf, which road would I chose? I would have to be at the cross a road in order to make that choice. Enjoy your evening my friend.

There are many who think they had a choice on the operating table, this poem made me think of them and how difficult the choice would be - to finally relax or return to their flesh body.

I also get tired when I have to make too many decisions so I can relate. Sometimes a nap is the best way to go...excellent pen, Gershon! Blessings, Rhonda xx

You sound like you can turn lemon into lemonades and lose-lose into win-win. So, while we're on the subject, can you turn water to... Ha, ha. I got carried away there... :) gw
