The River Remnants
I hope I don’t fall short
I fall oh so tall and I’m in appall
As I long for your comfort
Through it all, through it all…
Pieces of me has fallen
Into the deep end again
Pieces of me has fallen
Into the deep end again
Don’t fence me in
With your love again
Press your heart against my own
If you could, just let me know
If I’m good enough for you to let me show
That I’m a good person
That I’m a good person
For you, for you, for you…
You see my river remnants so true?
You’ve eaten from the forbidden fruit now
I’m stuck in the vines of vanity
Of lies and all the demise from your soullessness somehow
I’m in a scenario, so uncanny
Pieces of me has fallen
Into the deep end again
Pieces of me has fallen
Into the deep end again
Don’t fence me in
With your love again
Press your heart against my own
If you could, just let me know
If I’m good enough for you to let me show
That I’m a good person
That I’m a good person
For you, for you, for you…
You see my river remnants so true?
Pieces of me has fallen
Into the deep end again
Pieces of me has fallen
Into the deep end again
Don’t fence me in
With your love again
Press your heart against my own
If you could, just let me know
If I’m good enough for you to let me show
That I’m a good person
That I’m a good person
For you, for you, for you…
You see my river remnants so true?
For you…for you…for you…
I’d die for you, if only you knew
The river remnants of my heart
Has shattered apart from the start
The waterfalls of my eyes
Released the inner lies
That held me captive, captive
Now, I can truly live…live…live…
If I don’t fall short and lose it all…
