The River Life
So on the topic of river life,
What can I say that has not been said?
This reckless way is oft sought by few.
Adventurous souls eager of heart,
Who started wading her bramble shore.
Her lapping song is a sirens call.
Her scent holds captive to her domain.
Her secrets many hidden away.
Waiting the "ah-Ahhh" each hopes to say.
Her prodigals yearn for life that way.
For life is a line like the river.
The river life is the life they love.
