The River

The calm water of the river hitting the boat hull Gives me the feeling of being rocked in the Cradle gently to sleep. Yet, when I am excited and filled with interest There is no rest on my adventurous quest. For a while the only thing I am conscious of Is the mysterious deep. The calm water of the river hitting the boat hull Gives me the feeling of being rocked in the Cradle gently to sleep. As I watch for manatees it's exciting to see flying Fish and fish leap. My attention then goes to the sky where I see All manner of birds. There are spectacular Sunrises and magnificent sunsets as the sun Fades in the west. The calm water of the river hitting the boat hull Gives me the feeling of being rocked in the Cradle gently to sleep. Yet, when I'm excited and filled with interest There is no rest on my adventurous quest.

The enchantment of the river shines in the intriguing poem Bette. I prefer the river or lake to the open ocean. I love the sounds of the waves crash on shore though. A lovely poem! : )

Thank you. I prefer the river myself. It has a lot to offer one looking for adventure. The open ocean gets really rough. I am to old to take that kind of beating. I enjoy the calm of the river. I also love the sound of the waves. When I want that I go for a walk along the shore picking up seashells and unique pieces of drift wood. Thank you for stopping by. I hope all is well with you and yours. Have a great day.
