The Rites of Spring 8/8/2023 It’s Spring, and all of humanity sings! As large pinwheels dance in her winds And lovers lips blossom into roses. Hearts beat faster, new love in view. Time. silences our will to win. Enchanted, carefree, sail sunlit boats. Observing beating veins in lovers throats Racked with sensual desire to fulfill Nature’s call, to honor holy Spring’s will.

This is beautiful, Pangie. Thought I'd say hi to you. So much turmoil in my life this summer, I can barely keep up here. Hope you are doing well!

Gee, Andrea,,sorry to hear summer was an upset for you. I am of the opinion, there is nothing to keep up with here. It is not a real place,as your life or mine.I do wish it were more loving and not an Olympics game with winners and losers almost daily.I let go of that concept long ago.I just am here when I want to be…..no more must be. Please take care-of you The Soup can wait. Eddie starts sophomore year next week. Pangie

"Springs will", so beautiful. It's been so hot even the flowers, grass, and trees say, " Please I'm thirsty." Enjoyed reading my friend.

Hi there, Eve. With gratitude from my soul, I do thank you, well, you should be here, where rain is a rare event! To make matters worse, we do have the Water Police in my neck of the wood. They best not find you watering in off hours.watering is limited. So plants die, it will be hot here till October.AC is expensive.. Chicago spring is lovely.I live in a mellow climate, year round…..in a few years we might be moving to Nashville! 500,000 Californians left this year! Hugs, Pangie

An enjoyable poem on that great season. Looking back as a freshman in college; I think that's when I started noticing all of spring's springiness.

LOL David! I bet you noticed the loveliness of the young ladies as well! I hail from Chicago and so glad I left long ago. I am no snow-bird. But, while growing up..I could not wait for Spring! I went to Loyola U in Chicago. North shore campus.. right on the shores of Lake Michigan. Eskimo weather in winter. Yikes..Spring..ah!, lovely. I can relate to your scenic reply!! Have a stupendous week. Pangie
