The Rising Star
The rising star
I see myself
siting on a giant's shoulder
like a striving soldier
I am so built that
I could not only get the brightest view
which is open to only few
But as well
I could also fly,
no, not like a fly
But like an eagle
I soar, even in the jungle
high, high as I struggle
My power is in ink
I write, while others are trying
to stop their tears from drying
My strength is my voice
because, I am
the song that needs no drum
You can also read me
like a poem
well blended into a rhyme
I am so bright, such that
even when I walk in the dark
the blindest dog does bark
I was once a zero, but
I am now the rising star
that kicks the giant start
You are my superhero, cause
you read the poem
and listen to the rhyme
You are the giant
on whose shoulder
I sit, like a striving soldier
Thank you.
