The Rising

Crushed beneath a heavy yoke 
                             She passed out from the pain
                            A Gentle voice spoke, she awoke
                             Pure water washed blood stain

                               The burden had been lifted
                                   He'd hoisted it away
                           She blinked away her tears to see
                               A bright and hope filled day
