The Return of The Tea-Time Traveler

Back by unpopular demand, The Tea-Time Traveler
The one and only prolific verbose Babbler
I am traveling in both time and space
I find myself running the exhausting Human Race

I am the Old Happy-Go-Lucky Mad Wordsmith
Very thoughtfully designing my words with
A great deal of calm chaos and alacrity
I form from design the Stanzas of my Poetry

I write my prose on the Leaves of my Poet-Tree
Like the leaves of an old book you see
I sit on an old weathered oaken stump
That has been worn to conform to my old rump

With all the bees buzzing and all the birds singing
I await my old faithful muse who is bringing
My next awesome poetic inspiration
To leap out of my mind from my imagination

I have written many poems over the Spanning Years
And shared with others greeted by some Boos, but more cheers
The Poetry that I sit on my old Stump and write
Is the product of dreams and my 3rd eyesight

I introduced myself as The Tea-Time Traveler
Because I am the determined and constant unraveler
Of the Chaos and Confusion that is in my mind
But out comes a poem rhymed or unrhymed

My preferred poetry comes from my heart and soul
To write from there is one of my eternal goals
Some of my Poetry has no Rhyme of Reason
A lot are inspired by the changing seasons

So much more of my chronic inspiration
Comes from my Mind's broken imagination
I know that sounds somewhat backwards
But it helps me write my Stanzas next words

I enjoy reading others poems on Poetry Soup
I like writing poems and posting to join the troop
To get a comment is not my ultimate goal
But the ones I've gotten have been nice on the whole

I walk the dark streets of my mind at night
Without assistance from any kind of light
To find Devine Assistance from the One who might
Bless my poor old seeking soul with His Holy Light

Well, I've sat on my stump for quite some time
Spilling out from my heart my heartfull Rhyme
Seeking some sleep for the over-thoughtful insomniac
Seeking some comfort for the Anxious Maniac

For some semblance of comfort I choose to choose
To smoke a little cigar and drink a few brews
I sit here on my old Stump and slowly disappear
And go far off to the distant Land of Neverhere

Thank you for choosing to accompany me
On one of my little Out-Of-My-Mind journeys
Here I'm a bit mad and somewhat insane
I feel like a mistake when God created my brain

Of course we know that God makes no mistakes
He knows what to do and the time that it takes
To fully create a Human and insert them in
A world full of Love and a world full of Sin

It's your choice to take the right path to walk
It's your choice to form the right words you talk
And when you need help running the Human Race
God is there, on time, just don't fly in His Face

I would suggest this as the Age Old Wordsmith
Be Happy With What You Have To Be Happy With
You may have heard that before for some reason
If you know the Works and Words of King Crimson

It's good advice that most of us really need
It's good advice that most of us should need
But for the ones who have found their Bliss
Don't need any advice as simple as this

For their happiness they have found the elusive key
They've opened the door revealing a beautiful calm sea
On the Sea of Happiness they've launched their boat
Forever on the Sea of Love they shall forever float

But now I find that I must regretfully return to me
And my Cool Groovy Sea of Happy insanity
My boat is all tricked out and doesn't go quietly
I blast proper Rock n Roll to keep me company

I think that I have found my happiness key
The secret is how, when, where and why I write my Poetry
It's the Key to Happiness every one is searching for
But without the right intentions, it won't open the door

If you ever find yourself in Sandman's Sound
Then maybe the elusive Key to Happiness you have found
Remember how you got there because you're bound
To Karma and what goes around comes around

So do write your poems in true happiness
It's the only way that love will not cease to exist
And Be Happy With What You Have To Be Happy With
That is the happy advice from this Old Lone Mad Wordsmith

Oh, there's one more thing that I have to say
Drink and smoke in a responsible way
Or you will fade away and totally disappear
And no one will ever know that you were even here...
