The Reprobate Prayer

Where oh Lord, have I gone wrong
Why can't I feel Your hand
Without You here to guide me
How will I possibly stand

Take away this reprobate mind
For I may once again see
Please dear Lord, hear my prayer
And don't grow distant from me

My body is tired, my spirit is weak
I yearn, to feel Your touch
I barely feel Your Presence
But with You, little is much

My conscience is soiled, my heart is void
Not knowing right from wrong
Please dear Lord, enter once more
In this heart and make me strong

Forgive this lonesome and weary traveler
I'll heed Your every command
Give me back the hope I seek
To enter the Promised Land

Enter once more, with Your Radiant Light
For this darkness I feel may end
Please hear this prayer, of a reprobate mind
In Jesus name Amen
