The Rendition that stole my Heart
I sat in the audience listening to celebrity gossip
My heart was not there because I had nothing to share
The crowd kept streaming in and suddenly my heart began
To sing ;in a few seconds the theatre was full and suddenly I found myself standing center stage staring at three thousand people in front of me, I didn’t want to look in their eyes for the fear that I might cry so I created the sixth wall around the stage and use my imagination block out the blaze. The curtain went up and the lights came on with a bang and the orchestra began to sing a musical song. There were no words or voice in it, but the instrument sunk deep within and pulled out the lyrics that I could not hear and highlight the imagery that I could not see and reveal everything in front of me. It’s like I was walking in the sea and the multitude was walking with me, and they were absorbed with the orchestral song. Tears flow from well dress painted makeup faces, and when they dim the light, the musical instrument continues to sing. Men and women broke loose and a fountain of tears wet their clothes and sniffles and sobbing filled the theatre and brought out something profound among the crowd. The sound of instrument resonates deep and woke up snow white from her beauty sleep. The instrument spoke the words without tongue and it stole my heart without a single voice and the arrangement of the strings brings out the beauty within; and so the words that you cannot hear and the face that you cannot see will bring music to the universe and touch your soul. The lights came on and the audience applauds and the rendition that stole my heart won numerous awards.
