The Release
AFTER DEATH
Hand out stretched caught my tearsArms out stretched caught my fears
A cage outheld caught all of my sinsAn angel came gave me flying wings
With them I ascended up to beyondAll chains broke no shall to me bond
I'm leaving I won’t be coming backGone are the rooms of eternal black
Violins lightly play music in my earsAs life descends back into the years
To when I walked free on this worldNot an forsaken life as tightly furled
A prisoner of others cruel intentionBid farewell to my failed abstention
Raised beyond others contradictionAs sick minds they harbour affliction
To I a soul now pardoned and freedThe cost only that I should concede
Into the realms of our almighty lordAs I feel the release of this lifes cord
