The Red Square Nebula

The word of anger spoken by the square
mouth of the dark, an interstellar swear,

addressed to who knows whom. A scarlet curse,
a four-horned furiousness, which in the journal
kept by the apathetic universe
looks like an inner breakup, an external
candescent flash of light, a red-hot dozen
of exclamation points, commas, dots
around the supernova which still doesn’t
turn into a white dwarf. The terawatts

of wrath!.. I wonder what incited your
square rage, oh, darkness, in the days of yore.

I'm sure mankind incited it! This is awesome, Andrea's words, I know, but I concur. You have a vivid imagination that benefits all who read you and a creative streak that lends it such great umph! I don't know what to write for this nebula's contest but at least from you, I have garnered a fraction of a bit of an idea. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Thank you, CayCay. I must confess, your words sound very pleasant for my blushed ears. I am glad that my modest poetry could become a catalyst for ideas for such a wonderful poet like you)
