The Red Cardinal David Walker His voice was sure and clear “It was my mother” He said, casually As if he had forgotten to Mention her arrival The red cardinal was staying near where she could keep an eye on Her son Soon to follow her home Had we known should we Have opened the door and Invite her in or Was that for him to do alone When he hears her voice singing Calling him home
