The Red Brick
A bridge prepared to celebrate
Arrival of your brick today
You get your brick secure it high
Then move the brick along your way
The bridge ahead unseen so far
You enter soon a modern town
At first your brick cannot pass through
You settle in like broken down
Encumbered in the modern town
Distracted clowns subsuming
The bridge to nowhere never found
Your progress not resuming
What happens to your brick you ask?
The worker failed to finish task
The brick a relic from the past
Left on the ground to linger
