The Reason

You came to me, in a dream- perhaps in reality I am not sure how this truly came to be - darkness becomes light, day sparkles so bright You are the reason, my reason to stay Tears are forever locked away - so hold me this way in my night, in my day in my dream, in reality Whispers like a melody, only for me- and I don’t know why I don’t understand why, so I softly sigh Again and again, and I realize then When love echos upon the skin, touching me it takes the breath away softly and slowly you take my breath away So hold me this way in my night, in my day in my dream, in reality You are the reason, my reason to stay You came to me, and you have taken my breath away - a heart may not know how this came to be Tears are locked away - forever locked away so far away Because, You have become the reason, my reason to stay ---------------- ~ That sweet ache lingers no more ~ Authors Note: These lyrics follow “Reach for Me” * The Reason is why a heart chooses to stay.
