The Rearview Mirror

When the rearview mirror gets in the way of your focus on today
Throw a rock at it and shatter the glass,
For the distortion is something your eyes can grasp
And then
Those feelings will simply pass,
When the fog ahead makes you panic and shake
Just hit the brakes,
Breathe!
And make
The best of the present moment,
For this moment will soon be in your rearview mirror again,
This time you can make it a pleasant reflection.
